Box Score FARGO, N.D.--Jennifer Warkenthien had 14 points and 14 rebounds to help No. 18/22-ranked South Dakota State rout North Dakota State 70-36 on Saturday, Feb. 21, for its 12th straight victory. The game was played before a season-high 2,644 fans in the Bison Sports Arena.
North Dakota State (12-12, 10-6 Summit) is scheduled to host Utah Valley University (13-9) at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23. It is the final home game for Bison seniors Jerri Penley and Kate Moser.
Warkenthien also had four assists and two steals for the Jackrabbits (26-2, 15-1), who held the Bison to a season-low point total. The 36 points also matched NDSU's low point total in Division I scored at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (L, 36-59) on Feb. 11, 2006.
Maria Boever and Stacie Oistad scored 10 points apiece for South Dakota State, which has beaten the Bison eight straight games.
Penley was the only North Dakota State player in double figures with 12 points. She connected on 6 of 7 from the field and added six rebounds.
