Box Score MOSCOW, Idaho - The North Dakota State women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to Idaho on Sunday afternoon, conceding two goals in the final 20 minutes of the contest.
With the match still knotted at 0-0 in the 70th minute, Idaho's Chelsea Small found the back of the net. Breanna Wilson added a goal in the 84th minute for the Vandals.
Redshirt freshman goalkeeper Sierra Bonham made her second straight start for NDSU, recording six saves.
NDSU (1-3-0) was led offensively by senior Holly Christian, who tallied two shots and one shot on goal.
Idaho (2-2-0) posted a commanding 24-4 advantage in total shots, but only edged NDSU 7-6 in corner kicks.
NDSU will wrap up its season-opening five-game road swing with a match at Drake University on Sun., Sept. 2. The home opener against Bemidji State is slated for Fri., Sept. 7, at 4 p.m.
