KANSAS CITY, Mo. - TrayVonn Wright had 17 points and 10 rebounds and North Dakota State never trailed in a 63-44 win over Kansas City in Summit League men's basketball Saturday, Jan. 5, at Municipal Auditorium.
Taylor Braun scored 14 points and Marshall Bjorklund scored 11 for the Bison (13-3, 4-0), who led 28-19 at halftime and by as many as 23 points in the second half.
Estan Tyler was the only player to score in double figures for the Kangaroos (4-12, 1-4) with 10 points.
Kansas City shot 33 percent and made just 13 field goals in the game. North Dakota State hit 44 percent from the field and held its opponent under 50 points for the seventh time this season.
It was the second double-double of the season for Wright, who had a season-high 18 points and 10 rebounds in the November win at Duquesne.
North Dakota State takes a five-game winning streak home to face Fort Wayne at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, and Oakland at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12.
