NDSU led from start to finish after racing out to a 24-5 advantage in the game's first eight minutes.

Valley City State (1-7) shot just 15-for-51 (29.4 percent) for the contest. Aaron Duske and Quinton Peterson both scored eight points to lead the Vikings.
