FARGO, N.D. –
Mike Felt scored a career-high 30 points, helping the North Dakota State men's basketball team (11-4) to a 96-45 victory against the Mayville State Comets Saturday, Jan. 4, inside the Bison Sports Arena.
The Bison never trailed in the game.
Felt went 10-for-16 from the field and was 6-for-11 from three to go along with his career-best 30 points.
Three other Bison reached double figures in the contest.
Carlin Dupree scored 13 points and was 6-for-7 from the field while
Marshall Bjorklund netted 11 and
Dexter Werner scored 10 points, respectively.
Werner also paced NDSU in rebounding, pulling down seven boards.
NDSU was a blistering 36-for-63 from the field for 57 percent, marking the ninth time this season the Bison have shot over 52 percent from the field, and 9-for-21 (43 percent) from three-point range. The Bison attempted 22 free throws, converting 15 for 68 percent.
NDSU out-rebounded Mayville State, 37-26.
The Bison return to action Thursday, Jan. 9, when they travel to Fort Wayne, Ind., to open Summit League play against the Fort Wayne Mastodons. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. CT. Air time on KFGO 790-AM is slated for 5:40 p.m. with Scott Miller providing play-by-play.
