Photo GalleryFARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State men's basketball team posted an 81-69 exhibition victory over Division II Minot State on Wednesday night. The game was NDSU's debut at Scheels Arena in southwest Fargo, where the Bison will play two seasons during construction on the Sanford Health Athletic Complex.

Paul Miller (Waukesha, Wis.) made his first seven shots and finished with a team-high 19 points. Senior guard
Lawrence Alexander scored 18, and redshirt freshman
A.J. Jacobson added 14 points for the Bison.
Junior
Kory Brown led NDSU with six rebounds, while sophomore forward
Dexter Werner chipped in 12 points and four boards.
NDSU shot 29-of-57 (50.9 percent) for the game, including 10-of-24 (41.7 percent) from three-point range.
The Bison held a 36-30 advantage at halftime and stretched the lead to as many as 23 points at 62-39 with a 26-9 run to open the second half. Minot State scored the final 10 points of the game.
Alexander played the most minutes for NDSU with 33. Miller logged 31 minutes off the bench for the Bison. Freshmen
Spencer Eliason,
Evan Wesenberg and
Jake Showalter all also saw action for NDSU in the exhibition.
NDSU opens the regular season at No. 10-ranked Texas on Friday, Nov. 14, as part of the 2k Classic.
