Last Year: In last season's meeting between NDSU and UND, there were 64 fouls called in the game -- 37 on the Bison and 27 on UND. Four NDSU starters fouled out of the contest, and the teams combined for 77 free throw attempts.

Iron Man: Lawrence Alexander is playing an average of 38.5 minutes through eight games this season, ranking him third in the nation in minutes. The senior guard has played all 40 minutes in four of the last six contests.
Over 106 career games, Alexander has averaged 34.6 minutes – second only to Ben Woodside among all Bison players since 1999.

New to Them: The Bison only have four players on their roster (Alexander, Brown, Dupree and Kading) who have played in a game against UND.

Career-High for Alexander: Lawrence Alexander poured in a career-high 29 points in NDSU's loss at Montana on Dec. 7. Alexander made 11-of-20 shots and connected on 5-of-11 from three-point range. His previous career-best was 28 points in the Bison victory over Oklahoma in the 2014 NCAA Tournament.

No Quit: NDSU outscored Southern Miss 58-52 over the final 30 minutes of its loss in Hattiesburg on Dec. 3. The Bison scored 41 points in the final 17 minutes of the contest.

Dupree's Big Game: Sophomore guard Carlin Dupree scored a career-best 16 points on Dec. 3 at Southern Miss, with 14 of his points coming in the second half.

Tied the Record: Lawrence Alexander drained seven three-pointers at Southern Miss on Dec. 3, tying the NDSU single-game school record that is now shared by eight Bison.

Downtown L.A.: Alexander has made 16 of his last 28 shots from three-point range, good for 57% over the last three games. L.A. is ranked 15th in the nation with 3.5 three-pointers per game.

Senior Steps Up: Alexander already has five games this season with four or more three-pointers. He only had three such games over his first three seasons combined.

Wins Leaderboard: Alexander needs to play in 12 more NDSU victories to become the winningest player in school history. Alexander has 71 wins as a Bison. Mike Felt (2009-14) owns the NDSU record with 82 career wins.

Five Starters in Double-Digits: All five NDSU starters reached double-digits in scoring in the 72-51 win at Montana State on Nov. 30. It was the only game this season where the five regular Bison starters played more than 13 minutes on the floor together.
