FARGO, N.D. -- The North Dakota State University athletic department announced the Bison Pride Flag Project on Wednesday, July 23, a new project designed to help spread Bison Pride to all corners of the great state of North Dakota. 
 
The goal of the project is to place a custom-designed Bison Pride flag in every city in North Dakota, all 50 states, and in select Minnesota cities.

Fans will be required to fill out and submit a brief application form online. Forms can also be emailed to ndsu.bisonnation@ndsu.edu. Fans may also submit their request for the free flags through the NDSU Athletics Facebook page at www.facebook.com/NDBison.

Fans selected to receive a flag will be mailed a custom Bison Pride flag that measures five feet long by three feet high. NDSU will screen applicants and notify those that are selected to receive a flag.  
 
The athletic department will also celebrate the upcoming 2014-15 athletic season by raising even larger Bison Pride flags at select locations in Fargo and around the state of North Dakota.
 
The Bison Pride Flag Project will enhance the Bison Pride Friday tradition by asking fans to fly the flags on Fridays of game week, game day for all Bison sports and the days following NDSU victories.
 
The Bison Pride flags will also be available for purchase at Scheels and the NDSU Bookstore.
