FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State University women's soccer team (10-5-1, 5-0-1 Summit League) shut out the Fort Wayne Mastodons (4-11-2, 2-3-1 Summit League), 2-0, in its final home match of the season on a rainy Friday, Oct. 23, at Dacotah Field.
With the win, the Bison finished the 2015 season with a 6-1-0 record at home, the best record in Fargo since 2011.

Lauren Miller netted the goals for North Dakota State, while senior goalkeeper
Sierra Bonham posted her team-high seventh shutout of the season.
With the clean sheet, Bonham became the all-time leader in shutouts in NDSU soccer program history with 19.1.
After the Bison and Mastodons played to a scoreless draw in the first-half and the first 36 minutes of the second-half, Monteon gave North Dakota State a 1-0 lead after she scored on a shot from 20 yards out in the 81st-minute. It was her third goal of the season.
The Bison pushed their advantage to 2-0 just five minutes later when Miller netted her team and Summit League-high 13th goal of the season in the 86th-minute. The Saint Louis Park, Minn., native turned around and fired a shot from just outside of the box into the back of the net.
NDSU finished the match with a commanding 24-8 advantage total shots and a 14-2 edge in shots on goal, while both the Bison and Fort Wayne took four corner kicks.
With the victory, Bonham improved to 10-5-1 in goal.
Mastodon goalkeeper Kiley Dunning took the loss to fall to 4-9-2.
North Dakota State is scheduled to travel to IUPUI on Friday, Oct. 30, for a 7 p.m. ET (6 p.m. CT) league match.
