NDSU (2-1 overall) forced the Vikings into 22 turnovers, while the Bison committed only seven of their own.

Kory Brown posted a strong stat line, scoring 14 points on 4-of-4 shooting and a 6-of-8 effort at the free throw line. He added six rebounds, four steals and three assists to lead NDSU in each of those categories.

NDSU sophomore guard
Paul Miller led all players with 17 points, and
A.J. Jacobson chipped in 14 for the Bison.

The Bison led 28-26 at halftime but outscored VCSU 41-23 over the final 20 minutes. NDSU used an 11-0 run over a four-minute stretch to take a 48-36 lead just over midway through the half.

Later, NDSU put together a 13-0 run over three minutes to hold a 63-41 advantage with 3:31 to play.

Malik Clements each grabbed six rebounds for NDSU. The Bison shot 43 percent for the game, while VCSU hit 40 percent from the floor.

VCSU junior guard Justyn Galloway topped the Vikings with 12 points.
