Logan Moreland reached on an error to start the inning and moved to third on a pair of ground outs before Reina's blast.

Alex Sobrero opened the game with a triple to right, while Moreland reached on a bunt single and stole second to put runners in scoring position.
However, North Dakota State needed a seven-run third inning to rally from a 4-2 deficit against Central Michigan (0-6). Grable started things with a two-run single, then Reina smacked a three-run home run to left. The Bison also capitalized on an error to tack on the final two runs of the inning.
NDSU extended the lead to 10-4 in the fourth. Moreland led off with a double, moved to third on a wild pitch and scored on a Grable single.
The Bison closed out the scoring with three runs in the fifth inning. Grable received a bases loaded walk and Reina delivered a two-run base hit through the left side. Reina finished 3-for-3 with seven RBI, one off the school single-game record.
