Erin Teschuk continued to add to her list of amazing accomplishments on Saturday at the Iowa State Classic, clocking the NCAA's top time in the 3,000 meter run and breaking the NDSU school record in the event by 28 seconds.

Teschuk won the 3,000m in 9:02.40, obliterating the previous school record of 9:30.34 held by Nancy Dietman since 1985. It was the first 3,000m race of Teschuk's career.

Teschuk, who owned the No. 1 mile time in the nation for two weeks before slipping to No. 2 yesterday, now stands atop the NCAA performance list in another event. She closed with a furious finishing kick on Saturday that broke the meet record by more than nine seconds.

Rose Jackson ran 3:41.80 in the 4x400m relay to become the fourth-fastest 4x4 team in NDSU history. The Bison took second in the meet behind Duke.

Courtney Pasiowitz launched a personal-best 49-07.75 (15.13m) in the shot put at Iowa State for third place. That mark ranks her second in NDSU history behind teammate
Emily Lesser.

Amy Andrushko posted an indoor 800m personal-best of 2:10.38. The Dugald, Manitoba, native is the Summit League leader this year in the event.

Anna Benke shared the pole vault title, matching the second-best clearance of her career at 12-11.50 (3.95m). Sophomore
Taylor Janssen won the 3,000m in a PR of 9:54.92.

Lexy Boschee registered a personal-best 8.95 seconds twice in the 60m hurdles on Saturday – once in the prelims and once in the final – to take seventh place. Boschee fell just outside the NDSU all-time top 10 in the event.

Alexis Woods finished seventh in the 400m dash in a season-best 56.79, while junior
Melissa Kitching was eighth with a new indoor PR of 56.80.
