FARGO, N.D. – The South Dakota State University Jackrabbits claimed a 1-0 shutout win over the North Dakota State University women's soccer team on Sunday, Oct. 16, at Dacotah Field.
With the loss, the Bison fall to 8-7-1 overall and 3-2-1 in Summit League play, while the Jacks improve to 9-5-1 on the season and 4-1-0 in league action.
SDSU's Tori Poole netted what turned out to be the game-winning goal just six minutes into the match off a shot from Lindsee Larson that deflected off the post.

Mariah Haberle each tallied a shot on goal to lead NDSU offensively.
For the match, the Bison outshot South Dakota State, 7-6, and posted a 3-2 edge in corner kicks.

Monica Polgar suffered the loss in goal to drop to 7-7-0 on the season after making two saves and allowing one goal.
SDSU's Maggie Smither earned the victory between the pipes after giving up no goals and making a pair of saves in the first-half to improve to 7-1-1 in-goal.
North Dakota State is scheduled to return to action on Sunday, Oct. 23, at Fort Wayne. First kick is slated for 1 p.m. ET (noon CT) in Fort Wayne, Ind.
