VERMILLION, S.D. – The North Dakota State University women's soccer team fell at the University of South Dakota, 4-0, on Friday afternoon, Oct. 7, at the First Bank & Trust Soccer Complex in Vermillion.
With the loss, the Bison fall to 7-6-0 overall and 2-1-0 in Summit League play, while South Dakota improves to 2-11-1 on the season and 1-2-0 in league action.
The Coyotes gained a 2-0 lead after Sammie Villwock scored a pair of goals in the 36th and 39 minutes.
South Dakota increased its lead to 3-0 with a goal from Brooke Watson in the 55th-minute before making it 4-0 in the 70th-minute after a goal from Taryn LaBree.

Lauren Miller each tallied a shot on goal to pace North Dakota State.
NDSU and USD both tallied 10 shots in the match.
Bison goalkeeper
Monica Polgar (7-6-0) suffered the loss between the posts after making two saves but allowing four goals.
North Dakota State is scheduled to return home to Dacotah Field to host Western Illinois Sunday, Oct. 9, at 1 p.m.
