HIGH POINT, N.C. – UNC Greensboro closed the first half with a 13-0 run, and the North Dakota State men's basketball team could never recover, falling 65-54 at the High Point Tournament on Saturday evening.

A.J. Jacobson went a perfect 6-for-6 from three-point range, scoring 18 points to lead all players. He's now made 12-of-13 attempts from beyond the arc this season.

NDSU (3-1) shot 50 percent for the game and 50 percent from three-point range, but the Bison committed 20 turnovers.

UNC Greensboro (2-2) was led by 16 points from Francis Alonso.

NDSU held a 29-26 edge with just under seven minutes remaining in the first half, but the Spartans closed the half with a 13-0 run to lead 39-29 at the break. The Bison shot 60 percent in the first half but committed 10 turnovers.

The Bison battled back to pull within four at 49-45 with over 13 minutes left in the game. NDSU was still within four at 51-47 when UNCG went on a 7-0 run to take a 58-47 advantage with 6:11 to play.

Dylan Miller posted nine points and four rebounds in 11 minutes off the NDSU bench. Senior guard
Carlin Dupree scored 11 points for the Bison.
