Week 11 in the NFL saw rookie
Joe Haeg make his eighth consecutive start on the offensive line for the Indianapolis Colts, as well as an increase in snaps for rookie cornerback
CJ Smith of the Philadelphia Eagles.
With the entire Colts offensive line healthy, Haeg remained the starter at right tackle. Four of his eight starts have now come at the right tackle position, with two apiece at right guard and left guard. Smith played a season-high 14 snaps on special teams as he continues to work his way into the Eagles' rotation.
In the Canadian Football League, Brock Jensen's Ottawa Redblacks advanced to the Grey Cup, which will be played on Sunday, Nov. 27, at 5:30 p.m. CT on ESPN2.
No FCS school has more active NFL players than North Dakota State. Eight former Bison are currently in the NFL – seven active and one on injured reserve – plus head coach Gus Bradley of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
