SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The North Dakota State men's basketball team was unable to overcome a 17-point halftime deficit, falling 64-50 on the road at Missouri State on Sunday afternoon.

NDSU (5-2) was led by 19 points, three assists and two steals from sophomore point guard
Khy Kabellis.

Missouri State (4-1) used an early 15-0 run to go ahead 17-4 only seven minutes into the game. Another 7-0 run late in the first half gave the Bears a 38-21 lead at halftime.

Alize Johnson led the Bears with 17 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double.

The Bison pulled within 10 at 50-40 on a
Paul Miller jumper with 11:14 to play, but a three-point play and a bucket from Johnson pushed the MSU lead back to 15.

NDSU outscored Missouri State 29-26 after halftime. Miller finished with nine points and nine rebounds for the Bison.
