FARGO, N.D. – Senior Danny Regan hit a pinch-hit walk-off single in the bottom of the 10th inning to give the North Dakota State University baseball team a 4-3 win over the Concordia-Moorhead Cobbers on Tuesday, May 10, at Newman Outdoor Field.

With the win, NDSU improves to 27-21 overall, while the Cobbers end their season with an overall mark of 21-18.

Junior Ben Petersen went 3-for-4 at the plate with a double, run scored and two RBIs to lead North Dakota State, while sophomore Jayse McLean tallied two hits and scored the game-winning run.

Bison left-handed reliever Chris Choles (3-0) earned the win on the mound after allowing no hits and striking out two in the top of the 10th.

With the Bison leading 3-1 entering the top of the ninth inning, the Cobbers' Jordan Domine hit a two-run home run to left-field to tie the game.

North Dakota State was unable to score in the bottom-half of the frame, sending the contest to extra innings.

After a 1-2-3 top of the 10th, McLean led-off the bottom of the inning with a single to right-field, before Matt Elsenpeter singled to left-center, moving McLean to third. Regan stepped to the plate and drove a 1-2 pitch to the right-field wall, allowing McLean to easily cross home plate for the winning run.

Domine went 2-for-4 in the batter's box with a homer, run scored and two RBIs to lead Concordia-Moorhead.

Cobber pitcher Sam Mattson (1-2) took the loss after surrendering the game-winning run.
