NDSU Cross Country Announces 2016 Schedule

FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State men's and women's cross country teams have released their schedules for the upcoming 2016 season. NDSU will open the season at home on Sept. 2 and travel to four regular season competitions before competing at the Summit League Championships on Oct. 29 in Macomb, Ill.
NDSU will hold its season-opening Bison Open at Rose Creek Golf Course on Friday, Sept. 2, before competing at Oregon's Bill Dellinger Invitational on Sept. 16 and at Minnesota's Roy Griak Invitational on Sept. 24.
The Bison are scheduled to run at the SDSU Classic in Brookings, S.D., on Oct. 1 and the UND Ron Pynn Classic in Grand Forks, N.D., on Oct. 15.
Western Illinois will host the 2016 Summit League Cross Country Championships on Oct. 29 in Macomb, Ill.
The NCAA Midwest Regional will be hosted by Iowa in Iowa City on Nov. 11, and the NCAA Championships will take place in Terre Haute, Ind., on Nov. 19.
The Bison men return their top five finishers from last year's conference meet in sophomores Elliott Stone, Derek Warner and Matt Lundstrom and juniors Camron Roehl and Brant Gilbertson. The NDSU women will bring back six of their top seven runners from last season, led by sophomores Brittany Brownotter and Emma Kusch Dahle and senior Taylor Janssen.
