NDSU Setter Brianna Rasmusson Named to CoSIDA Academic All-District® 6 Team

FARGO, N.D. – North Dakota State University 5-foot-11 senior setter Brianna Rasmusson was selected to the CoSIDA Academic All-District® 6 Volleyball Team announced Thursday, Nov. 16. District 6 represents Arkansas, Iowa, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
Rasmusson advances to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® Team ballot, with first-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees to be announced in December.
The native of Fergus Falls, Minn., maintains a 3.95 GPA majoring in exercise science. She has been a Distinguished Scholar on the Summit League Honor Roll and named to the Summit League Commissioner's List.
Rasmusson has started all 26 matches and 93 sets this season. She is averaging 9.77 assists and 3.27 digs per set, and has 62 blocks and a team-high 32 service aces. Rasmusson became the seventh NDSU to record over 3,000 assists and 1,000 digs in a career.
North Dakota State (18-8) opens Summit League tournament play against Omaha (10-17) at 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, in Hamilton Gymnasium in Denver.
