Bison Earn No. 2 Seed for Summit League Men’s Basketball Tournament

North Dakota State will enter the Summit League Men's Basketball Tournament as the No. 2 seed when eight teams begin play in Sioux Falls, S.D., on Saturday, March 4. The league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament will be determined in the championship game on Tuesday, March 7.
The No. 2-seeded Bison (19-10, 11-5) open play in Saturday's nightcap against No. 7 seed IUPUI (13-17, 7-9) at 8:30 p.m. CT.
Each men's quarterfinal and semifinal game will be produced and televised by Midco Sports Network for the eighth straight year, and the broadcasts will also be available on ESPN3.
The South Dakota Coyotes (21-10, 12-4 Summit League) earned the league's No. 1 seed. USD, which enters the tournament riding a six-game win streak, will meet No. 8 seed Western Illinois (8-19, 5-11) Saturday at 6 p.m. CT.
Sunday's quarterfinal session begins with No. 4 seed South Dakota State against No. 5 seed Denver. No. 3 seed Omaha faces No. 6 Fort Wayne at 8:30 p.m. to close out the quarterfinal round.
A Bison victory on Saturday would pit NDSU against the winner of the Omaha-Fort Wayne game in the semifinals at 8:30 p.m. on Monday. Both semifinal games air on MidcoSN with an ESPN3 simulcast. Tuesday's championship game is set for 8 p.m. and will be televised live on ESPN2 and available on the WatchESPN app.
