OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha Mavericks coasted to a 10-0 win in seven innings over the North Dakota State University baseball team in the first game of a three-game Summit League series Friday, March 31, at Isaacson Field at Seymour Smith Park in Omaha, Nebraska.
With the loss, NDSU drops to 9-15 overall and 2-5 in Summit League play while UNO improves to 6-19 on the season and 4-3 in league action.
Omaha outhit North Dakota State, 16-2, in the contest.

Senior RHP
Luke Lind (2-3) took the loss on the mound after giving up seven runs – six earned – on 10 hits with five strikeouts and two walks in 4 1/3 innings.
Outfielder Marcus Ethen and catcher Nate Mallott each tallied three hits, leading the Mavericks at the plate.
UNO starter Corey Binger (3-4) pitched a complete game shutout, allowing no earned runs on two hits with three strikeouts and no walks in seven innings to earn the victory.
The Bison and Mavs are slated to play game two of the series Saturday, April 1, at 2 p.m. at Isaacson Field at Seymour Smith Park.
