Dietz and Kvilvang Compete in North Dakota Lions All-Star Basketball Games

FARGO, N.D. -- North Dakota State University freshmen Emily Dietz and Macey Kvilvang competed in the North Dakota Lions all-star basketball games on Monday, July 10, and Tuesday, July 11, in Bismarck and Fargo.
In Monday's contest at the Bismarck Event Center, Kvilvang scored 20 points and pulled down eight rebounds for the Class B team, while Dietz, playing for the Class A team, tallied 13 points. Class A won the game, 77-74.
Tuesday at the Fargo Civic Center, Kvilvang netted a game-high 16 points for Class B, while Dietz scored five for Class A, which won the contest, 67-64.
Kvilvang is coming off a standout high school career at North Star Public School in Cando, N.D., where she was a two-time first team all-state honoree and set school records for points, rebounds and blocks, while Dietz was a two-time all-state selection for Fargo Shanley High School.
