Last Time vs. North Dakota: The Bison scored the first 11 points and led from start to finish for an 88-79 win over North Dakota on Dec. 9 at the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center.
NDSU senior Paul Miller poured in 30 points on 12-for-16 shooting. The Bison shot 60 percent as a team and made 13-of-22 attempts (59 percent) from three-point range. It was NDSU's third straight win over North Dakota in Grand Forks.

Winning the Arc: NDSU ranks among the top teams in Division I in both three-point FG defense (24th) and three-point percentage (31st). Since their 88-79 win at North Dakota on Dec. 9, the Bison are shooting 44 percent from beyond the arc.

Record Rate on 3-Pointers: The Bison are making 9.4 three-pointers per game this season, which is on pace to match the school record of 9.4 treys made per game in the 2001-02 season. In the Division I era, the NDSU season record for threes per game is 7.7 last season.

20-Plus: Paul Miller has scored 20 or more points in five consecutive games. His 25.0 points per game in league play ranks second in the league behind only Mike Daum of SDSU.

Fourth Double-Double: Sophomore Tyson Ward recorded his fourth career double-double vs. Denver on Jan. 11 with 11 points and 10 rebounds.

At the Charity Stripe: Over the past seven games, the Bison are shooting 78.2 percent (122-for-156) at the free throw line. NDSU was averaging 13.8 free throw attempts through 11 contests, but has averaged 22.3 free throw attempts over the past seven games.

High Percentage: NDSU has shot 50 percent or better from beyond the arc in six games.

Solid Senior: Although A.J. Jacobson's scoring average is down this season, he is having the most efficient year of his career. Jacobson's field goal percentage (49.0%), three-point percentage (47.6%), and assist-to-turnover ratio (1.8) are all the best of his career.

Big Game Hunter: Redshirt freshman guard Cameron Hunter scored a season-high 35 points for the Bison at South Dakota on Jan. 6, making 9-of-12 shots, a perfect 5-for-5 from three-point range, and 12-of-14 at the free throw line.

Offensive Execution: The Bison scored 84 points in their road win on Jan. 6 at South Dakota – a team that leads The Summit League in scoring defense, allowing 66.8 points per game. Duke and UCLA are the only other teams to top 80 points vs. the Coyotes this season.

Dynamic Duo: In back-to-back games on Jan. 3 and Jan. 6, Paul Miller (36) and Cameron Hunter (35) put up the two highest point totals by a Bison in more than eight years.

Shooter's Touch: Four Bison are shooting better than 41 percent from three-point range this season – and that doesn't include leading scorer Paul Miller. A.J. Jacobson (48 percent), Cameron Hunter (46 percent), Jared Samuelson (44 percent) and Chris Quayle (42 percent) are leading the NDSU effort from beyond the arc. Miller is shooting 38 percent from downtown and ranks fifth in school history with 221 career three-pointers.

Top 3-Point Shooting League: For the second season in a row, The Summit League is the top three-point shooting conference in all of Division I. Summit League teams have combined to shoot 37.4 percent from beyond the arc this year. Last season, the Summit League led all conferences by more than one full percentage point, shooting 37.9 percent for the year.

Assists Increase for Miller: Paul Miller is averaging 3.7 assists per game this season. Over the first three seasons of his career, he averaged 1.5 assists per contest.

Most Points Since '09: Paul Miller's 36 points vs. South Dakota State on Jan. 3 were the most by a Bison since Ben Woodside scored 37 against Kansas in the 2009 NCAA Tournament.

Nine Dimes: Redshirt freshman Cameron Hunter registered nine assists vs. Jamestown on Dec. 30 – the most by a Bison since Taylor Braun dished out 11 against Southern Mississippi on Nov. 18, 2013.

Minutes Boost: Through 18 games this season, junior forward Spencer Eliason has already far surpassed his statistical totals from his first two seasons combined. Eliason has 85 points and 62 rebounds this year, compared to 40 points and 39 rebounds in his freshman and sophomore seasons. He is shooting 56.3 percent from the field this year.
