This Week's Games: The North Dakota State men's basketball team (12-10 overall, 4-3 Summit League) travels to Brookings, S.D., to play league-leading South Dakota State (18-6, 6-1) on Thursday night before hosting second-place South Dakota (18-6, 6-2) at the Scheels Center on Saturday afternoon.

Where to Watch: Both games will be broadcast on Midco Sports Network, as well as being available on ESPN3 and the ESPN app. Tom Nieman (play-by-play) and Brad Newitt (analyst) will call the action on Thursday at SDSU. Brian Shawn (play-by-play) and Greg Stemen (analyst) have the call on Saturday in Fargo.

History with South Dakota State: This will be the 220th meeting between North Dakota State and South Dakota State dating back to 1909-10. NDSU leads the series 117-102 and has won 13 of the last 21 meetings overall. The Bison are 7-4 in their last 11 games in Brookings, including an 80-69 win on Dec. 28 last season.

Last Time vs. South Dakota State: Â South Dakota State junior forward Mike Daum scored 37 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to lead SDSU to an 87-80 win over the Bison on Jan. 3 at the Scheels Center.

Paul Miller scored a career-high 36 points to lead the Bison, including a 7-for-11 performance from three-point range. Redshirt freshman
Cameron Hunter added 10 points and six rebounds for NDSU, and
A.J. Jacobson and
Spencer Eliason both scored nine.
         The Jackrabbits shot 51 percent for the game – the third-best field goal percentage for a Bison opponent this season. NDSU led by as many as 11 points in the first half, going up 27-16 on a three by Miller with 10:22 left in the half.

History with South Dakota: Saturday will be the 175th meeting between North Dakota State and South Dakota dating back to 1922-23. The Bison hold a 95-79 lead in the series. NDSU is 10-3 against the Coyotes as Division I opponents.

Last Time vs. South Dakota: Â NDSU withstood a second-half rally by the Coyotes to pull out an 84-79 road victory on Jan. 6.
         Redshirt freshman guard
Cameron Hunter scored a season-high 35 points for the Bison, making 9-of-12 shots, a perfect 5-for-5 from three-point range, and 12-of-14 at the free throw line.
Paul Miller added an impressive 24 points, six rebounds and six assists for NDSU.
         The Bison made 11-of-22 from beyond the arc in the game and shot 53 percent overall. NDSU trailed 15-3 less than four minutes into the game, but the Bison rallied to go up 14 in the opening minute of the second half.

Sharp Shooters: The Bison lead The Summit League and rank 34th in the nation in field goal percentage, shooting 48.2 percent overall for the season.

Chris Quayle is shooting 56 percent from three-point range in Summit League play, and
Spencer Eliason is shooting 64 percent overall in Summit League play.

20-Plus: Paul Miller has scored 20 or more points in nine consecutive games. In NDSU's Division I era, no other Bison has ever scored 20-plus in more than five straight games.

Climbing the Charts: Paul Miller ranks 50th in the nation with 19.5 points per game this season. His 1,543 career points are No. 43 in the country among all active players.
         Miller ranks 31st among all active Division I players with 230 career three-pointers. He passed Ben Woodside (228) on Jan. 25 vs. Omaha to move up to fourth all-time at NDSU.

Defensive Lockdown: The Bison clamped down defensively in their win over Omaha on Jan. 25, holding the Mavericks to a season-low 58 points. Omaha's previous season-low of 64 points came at nationally ranked Kansas on Dec. 18.

Spencer Eliason pulled down a career-high seven rebounds in NDSU's win vs. Omaha on Jan. 25.

Solid Senior: Although
A.J. Jacobson's scoring average is down this season, he is having the most efficient year of his career. Jacobson's field goal percentage (48.1%), three-point percentage (46.8%), and assist-to-turnover ratio (2.0) are all the best of his career.

1,500 Point Club: With 25 points vs. Omaha on Jan. 25, senior
Paul Miller became the 12th player in NDSU history to surpass 1,500 career points.

Winning the Arc: NDSU ranks among the top 80 teams in Division I in both three-point percentage (30th) and three-point FG defense (76th). Since their 88-79 win at North Dakota on Dec. 9, the Bison are shooting 42 percent from beyond the arc.

Record Rate on 3-Pointers: The Bison are making 9.4 three-pointers per game this season, which is on pace to match the school record of 9.4 treys made per game in the 2001-02 season. In the Division I era, the NDSU season record for threes per game is 7.7 last season.

Tyson Ward recorded his fifth double-double against North Dakota on Jan. 16 with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

At the Charity Stripe: NDSU was averaging only 13.8 free throw attempts through 11 contests, but has averaged 20.1 free throw attempts over the past 11 games. Over those 11 games, the Bison are shooting 78.7 percent (174-for-221) at the free throw line.
