NASSAU, Bahamas – Incarnate Word's Morgan Taylor made a contested three-pointer with one second left in regulation, forcing overtime and propelling UIW to an 80-78 win over the North Dakota State men's basketball team on Saturday at the Bahamas Showcase.

The Bison led 61-46 with 8:30 remaining in the second half after stringing together a 9-0 run. NDSU held a 70-63 advantage when
Jared Samuelson knocked down three free throws with 2:30 left.

Incarnate Word closed the second half with an 11-4 run, capped by Taylor's game-tying three with one second on the clock.

Cameron Hunter made a pair of free throws to tie the game at 78-78 with 38 seconds left in overtime, but Taylor came through again for Incarnate Word, sinking an off-balance shot in traffic with 19 seconds remaining. The Bison missed a shot to win at the other end, and time expired as the teams fought for the loose ball.

Tyson Ward led NDSU with 14 points and six rebounds. Sophomore
Rocky Kreuser scored 13 points, and Samuelson added 12 for the Bison. Taylor led the Cardinals with 24 points.

Both teams shot 54 percent for the game, but NDSU committed 19 turnovers. The Bison made 10-of-23 (43.5 percent) from beyond the arc.
