DURHAM, N.C. – North Dakota State University scored the game's final five runs including
Maddie Hansen's bases-loaded double in the sixth as the Bison beat Lehigh 6-2 to close out the Duke University Inaugural Tournament played Sunday, March 4, before 134 spectators at Duke Softball Stadium.

NDSU (9-5) finished 4-0 at the tournament and have won five in a row.

North Dakota State trailed 2-1 to Lehigh (2-7) following a two-run double from Payton Alsobrooks in the top of the fourth inning. The Bison tied the score at 2-2 in the bottom of the fourth when
Katie Shoultz was issued a bases-loaded to push
Stephanie Soriano across the plate.

NDSU took advantage of an error to score
Madyson Camacho for a 3-2 lead in the fifth inning. Hansen broke the game open when she cleared the bases with a double to left center.

Jacquelyn Sertic (7-3) picked up the win in relief of starter
KK Leddy. Sertic retired the last seven batters in order including a pair of strikeouts. Leddy worked the first 4.2 innings, allowing five hits with two walks and two strikeouts.

Parker Boyd (1-4) took the loss for Lehigh. Boyd walked nine and struck out four.
