NDSU Athletics and the Fargodome are encouraging fans to enter the stadium early for Bison football games and be prepared for longer wait times with the addition of 30 walk-through metal detectors around the facility. Doors open 90 minutes prior to kickoff.
- It is strongly recommended and encouraged that no unnecessary bags are brought to the facility. The maximum size for a bag allowed into the building is 13"x13". A clear bag is encouraged, but not required.Â
- Express lanes are available. Each entrance has an express lane option for those who do not bring a bag or any extra items to the event. Extra items are defined as strollers, diaper bags, etc. If you do not have anything other than what is in your pockets, we encourage you to use the express lanes.Â
- Remove items from pockets. Signs are posted at the entrances of all gates that list what items need to be removed and not removed before proceeding through the detectors. A full list of these items can be found at Fargodome.com/guidelines-policies.
- Please Remove:Â Cell Phones, Cameras, Sunglass Cases, Tobacco Tins and other large metal objects.
- Do Not Remove:Â Belt, Wallet, Coins, Jacket, Shoes, Watches/Jewelry
- Expect delays. Ingress of guests at events will potentially be a slower process and guests are encouraged to arrive early. When approaching the detectors please have the identified property removed from your pockets. Containers will be available to divest those items to the other side of the detectors. Please be prepared for this process.Â
- Additional handheld wand detectors will be used as a secondary form of security.
