NDSU Volleyball Announces Addition of Alex Lyle to 2020 Recruiting Class

FARGO, N.D. -- North Dakota State University head volleyball coach Jennifer Lopez announced Friday, Nov. 22, the addition of 6-1 outside hitter Alex Lyle (Maplewood, Minn. / Tartan H.S), who will be joining the volleyball program in the fall of 2020.
 
Lyle joins 6-foot outside hitter Ali Hinze (Maple Grove, Minn. / Osseo H.S.) and 5-6 libero Taylor Quan (Brooklyn Park, Minn. / Osseo H.S.), who will also join the volleyball program next fall.

HIGH SCHOOL:.Entered her senior year as four-time all-conference performer at outside hitter for Tartan High School and head coach Alyssa Wise … Added setter duties as a senior … Reached 1,000 kills during junior year and is adding to the school's all-time kills record … Played for Kokoro Volleyball Club coached by R.T. Luczak … Also played golf … Member of National Honor Society and Relay for Life … Serving as AVID tutor and Link Crew leader.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Mary and Thomas Lyle … Has one brother, Jake, and one sister, Lauren … Uncle, Jeff Blumer, and brother, Jake, played college basketball.
 
North Dakota State (13-15) opens the Summit League Championship presented by U.S. Air Force Special Warfare against Omaha (17-13) at 4 p.m. Central Time Friday, Nov. 22, in Denver.
