MOSCOW, Idaho – The North Dakota State men's basketball team erupted for a 13-0 run in the second half, pulling away for a 70-53 victory over Idaho on Tuesday night. The Bison made a season-high 14 three-pointers in the contest.

The Bison were led by 13 points from junior guard
Cameron Hunter.
Vinnie Shahid scored 12 points and recorded a career-high five steals. NDSU sophomore
Sam Griesel finished with 11 points and seven rebounds.

The Bison held a 29-27 advantage at halftime. It was 40-38 when NDSU rattled off 13 straight points in a three-minute span to go up 53-38 with 11:45 remaining.

The Bison outscored Idaho 41-26 in the second half.

NDSU won the rebounding battle by a 36-29 margin. The Bison totaled 16 assists, including a career-high five from sophomore
Tyree Eady.
Tyson Ward finished with nine points, six rebounds and four assists.
