FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State University athletic department and the Minnesota Twins are proud to present the first-ever Division I football game played at Target Field in Minneapolis presented by Pioneer. The defending Division I FCS national champion Bison will open the 2019 season Aug. 31 against Butler University with kickoff scheduled for 3 p.m.
The game will be played as an offsite home game for the Bison, and thanks in part to sponsors like Cenex
®, fans can expect the exceptional game day experience they're accustomed to. Pre-game activities include:
- A pre-game concert, hosted by Cenex, featuring country artist Jordan Davis. Hear the gold-certified singer perform his hit songs including "Take It From Me" and "Singles You Up" before engaging with fans around Target Field.
- Ticket holders will be able to enter the stadium starting at noon with full access to concessions, bars and restaurants inside Target Field, including: "Drafts at 34" tap wall, Bat & Barrel, Town Ball Tavern, Hrbek's and Minnie & Paul's.
