AUSTIN, Texas – Megan Gray struck out 17 and Jenna Endris had a key bases-clearing double as Lipscomb University shut down North Dakota State 7-1 at the Texas Invitational at McCombs Field on Sunday, Feb. 23.

NDSU (5-9) is scheduled open with Sam Houston State (6-9) at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, at the Bearkat Invitational in Huntsville.

With Lipscomb (7-6) leading 1-0, Endris cracked a 1-1 pitch for bases-loaded double to left center. The Bisons finished with 10 hits. Amy Vetula had three runs scored, two singles and a double.

Gray (5-0) struck out 17, scattered five hits and issued no walks for the Lipscomb.
Paige Vargas (3-5) and
Kara O'Byrne pitched for NDSU with Vargas taking the loss. O'Byrne allowed six hits and one earned run over the final four innings.

Madyson Camacho delivered a RBI single to score
Skylar Padgett.
