FARGO, N.D. -
Phil Steele's College Football Preview magazine lists North Dakota State quarterback Trey Lance as the FCS Preseason Offensive Player of the Year and left tackle Dillon Radunz as the FCS Preseason Offensive Lineman of the Year for the upcoming 2020 season.
Lance, a sophomore from Marshall, Minn., was the 2019 Walter Payton Award winner as the FCS Offensive Player of the Year. Radunz, a senior from Becker, Minn., was last year's Offensive Lineman of the Year by the FCS Athletic Directors Association.
In addition to Lance and Radunz on Phil Steele's Preseason All-America first team, senior right tackle
Cordell Volson was named to the second team and sophomore fullback
Hunter Luepke was named to the third team.
NDSU had 17 players listed on the Preseason All-Missouri Valley Football Conference team selected by Phil Steele and the DraftScout.com staff.
