Stevie Keller announced the addition of graduate transfer Jennie Baragar-Petrash from the University of Arizona on Wednesday.

Baragar-Petrash, a native of Winnipeg, Manitoba, comes to NDSU with two seasons of outdoor eligibility and one season of indoor eligibility remaining. She owns personal-best times of 4:24.61 in the 1500m, 9:18.51 in the 3000m, and 16:15.68 in the 5000m

Four of Baragar-Petrash's personal-best event performances at Arizona would rank among the top five in NDSU history. She has been an NCAA West Preliminary Rounds qualifier in both the 1500m and 5000m.

In cross country, Baragar-Petrash was a two-time All-Region performer, finishing 18th at the NCAA West Regional in 2019 and taking 25th in 2018. She was the top finisher for Arizona at every cross country meet in the 2019 season.

The NDSU women's track & field team has won 25 straight Summit League team titles since joining the league in 2008.
