History vs. Kansas City: Friday and Saturday will be the 16th and 17th meetings all-time between NDSU and Kansas City. The Bison hold an 11-4 lead in the series. The two schools haven't played since Kansas City departed The Summit League in 2013, with NDSU sweeping all three meetings that season including a 69-58 victory in the quarterfinals of the Summit League Tournament on Mar. 10, 2013.

Approaching 1,000: With 17 more points, Rocky Kreuser will reach the 1,000-point mark for his NDSU career. There are 36 members of the 1,000-Point Club at NDSU, with Tyson Ward and Vinnie Shahid being the most recent to join during the 2019-20 season.
Kreuser has already totaled 249 points this season, which is closing in on his previous season-high of 311 points scored as a junior last season.

500 Boards: Rocky Kreuser needs four rebounds to reach 500 for his career. He would become the 31st player in NDSU history to record 500 career boards.

Feeling 22: In North Dakota State history, 21 players have reached both 1,000 points and 500 rebounds in their Bison careers. Kreuser could achieve both milestones this weekend.

One of a Kind: Tyree Eady is the only Division I player in the country this season who is …
  • Shooting at least:
    • 55% overall
    • 50% on three-pointers
    • 75% on free throws
  • Averaging 5+ rebounds per game
  • Playing 30+ minutes per game

What's At Stake: A win on Friday would make the Bison 8-1 in Summit League play, matching their best nine-game start ever in the league (2008-09 season).

Rejection: Freshman Grant Nelson leads The Summit League with 1.5 blocks per game in league play.

Cleaning the Glass: NDSU is averaging a +10.1 rebounding margin in Summit League play – the best in the league.

In The Last 5 Games ...
  • The Bison are shooting 38 percent from three-point range in the past five games.
  • Rocky Kreuser is averaging 20.0 points and 8.6 rebounds over the past five games, shooting 93 percent from the free throw line (25-of-27).
  • Jarius Cook is averaging 11.6 points over the past five games, ranking second on the team in that stretch.

Minutemen: Rocky Kreuser (43), Tyree Eady (43), Sam Griesel (42), Jarius Cook (38), and Grant Nelson (31) all registered new career-highs in minutes played on Jan. 16 at North Dakota.

Shoot the Rock: Rocky Kreuser poured in a career-high 32 points at North Dakota on Jan. 16. It was the largest scoring output by a Bison since Jared Samuelson scored 32 against Mayville State on Feb. 13, 2018.
