Dexter Werner to Join Jeff Culhane on NDSU Men’s Basketball Radio Broadcasts

FARGO, N.D. – Former North Dakota State men's basketball standout Dexter Werner will join the radio broadcasts of home Bison men's basketball games as the color analyst, it was announced Monday by Bison Sports Properties and Radio FM Media.
Werner, a Bismarck native and 2017 graduate of NDSU, was a two-time Summit League Sixth Man of the Year winner. He finished his Bison career (2012-17) with 943 points and 634 rebounds, appearing in the 2014 and 2015 NCAA Tournaments. Werner ranks fifth in NDSU history for blocked shots and eighth for career field goal percentage.
"I'm excited to get back involved with Bison Basketball, and to help share my love for the game with Bison Nation, who gave so much to me as a student-athlete," said Werner. "I'm just as excited to work with and learn from Jeff Culhane, who's one of the best around and a true professional in the industry. I can't wait to get back in the SHAC and help bring some more great moments to our fans."
Werner will join play-by-play man Jeff Culhane on the call for each of NDSU's eight home conference games and the Summit League Tournament, which are carried on 107.9 The Fox, Bison 1660 AM, and 92.7 FM in Fargo, as well as being streamed on the 107.9 The Fox app, the Bison 1660 app, and on GoBison.com/allaccess.

The Bison open the home portion of the Summit League schedule this Friday, Jan. 8, against Omaha at 7:30 p.m.
