PEORIA, Ill. – Senior
Kelby Anderson led the North Dakota State women's cross country team at the Bradley Pink Classic on Friday afternoon, taking 22nd place overall as the top finisher for the Bison.
NDSU finished 11th as a team out of 37 Division I schools competing in the meet.
Anderson completed the six-kilometer race at Newman Golf Course in 21:33.5 to finish 22nd.
Kaleesa Houston was the No. 2 finisher for the Bison in a personal-best 21:49.8 for 38th place.
Freshman
Grace Link took 78th place as NDSU's No. 3 runner, finishing in 22:20.9. Freshman
Onnica Stansbury was 103rd in 22:36.6, and
Alexis Roehl was 121st in 22:45.3 to complete the team scoring.
Nebraska won the women's team title.
The Bison will race next at the Summit League Championships on Saturday, Oct. 30, in Tulsa, Okla.
