About Tarleton: Monday will be the first-ever meeting between the Bison and Texans. Tarleton State University, located in Stephenville, Texas, is transitioning from NCAA Division II to Division I and is a member of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC).

Against Idaho: Saturday will be the 10th meeting all-time between the Bison and Vandals, with NDSU leading the series, 6-3. The two schools played most recently in Moscow, Idaho, on Nov. 26, 2019, with the Bison winning 70-53.
