SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Ali Hinze has earned All-Summit League Honorable Mention honors, the league office announced on Wednesday.

Hinze led the Bison this season totaling a career-best 370 kills, which ranked fifth in the Summit League. She also finished the season positioned fifth in the Summit League in kills per set with 3.43. Hinze registered double figures in kills 22 times, including the final three matches of the season. Her season was highlighted by a season-high 20 kill performance in the win over Butler on Sept. 10. It marked the third time in her career she reached the 20-kill plateau.

Hinze made an impact on the defensive side of the floor totaling a career-best 291 digs. She notched double digits in digs 16 times and tallied a season-high 20 digs in the win over Western Illinois on Sept. 30. The Maple Grove, Minn., native also contributed a team-high 14 double-doubles, including a streak of four straight from Oct. 9 against Omaha to Oct. 21 at Oral Roberts.
