FARGO, N.D. - The North Dakota State softball team's season-opening road trip to McNeese State has been canceled due to travel. NDSU's flight to Dallas-Fort Worth was canceled and unable to be re-booked in time for the tournament.

The Bison were scheduled to play five games against Memphis, McNeese State, Louisiana Tech and Boise State. NDSU will attempt to find replacement games elsewhere on its upcoming schedule.

North Dakota State is slated to face 20th-ranked Arkansas in a doubleheader next Thursday, Feb. 25, in Fayetteville, Ark.
