PORTLAND, Ore. – Raegen Reilly posted her second double-double of the season as North Dakota State fell short against Portland State, 3-0, on Friday night at the Portland State Tournament at the Viking Pavilion.
Reilly passed out a team-best 25 assists to go along with 10 digs to pace the Bison. Ali Hinze led NDSU on the offensive side with team-high 11 kills and seven digs. Kaylee Hanger posted a match-high 14 digs, while Taylor Quan also reached double digits in digs with 10. Both teams got the contest started exchanging points until the Vikings connected on three straight points to open up a 17-12 edge. Portland State didn't look back from there and took the opening set, 25-14. Hinze paced the Bison with three kills, while Michelle Glover added in two of her own.
NDSU began the second set rattling off five unanswered points to steal an 11-9 edge after a kill from Syra Tanchin.
