Bison Wrap Non-Conference Play with 99-54 Victory

FARGO, N.D. – Six Bison scored in double figures as the North Dakota State men's basketball team rolled to a 99-54 victory over Waldorf on Sunday evening at the Scheels Center.
Junior Boden Skunberg led the scoring for the Bison, finishing with 19 points. Freshman guard Lance Waddles scored a season-high 14 points – hitting 4-of-7 from three-point range – and fellow freshmen Damari Wheeler-Thomas and Sam Hastreiter both added 13.
NDSU sophomore Jacari White chipped in 12 points for his fourth double-digit scoring output in the last five games. Junior forward Grant Nelson registered a double-double for the Bison with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
The Bison shot a season-best 54 percent for the game and limited the Warriors to 33-percent shooting.
NDSU raced out to a 26-12 lead in the game's first nine minutes and expanded the margin to as much as 23 in the first half.
Bison sophomore Joshua Streit made his first career start and finished with seven rebounds.
NDSU improved to 3-9 on the season. The Bison will open Summit League play at Western Illinois on Monday, Dec. 19.
