Against Western Illinois: Monday will be the 34th game between NDSU and Western Illinois dating back to 2007-08. NDSU holds a 24-9 lead in the all-time series. The Bison have won 18 of the last 20 vs. the Leathernecks, going 8-1 over the past four seasons.

Last Time vs. The Leathernecks: The Bison earned a wild, double-overtime 84-81 victory in Macomb on Feb. 10 last season. NDSU trailed 81-78 midway through the second overtime, but the Bison went on to score the final six points of the game.

Against St. Thomas: Wednesday will be the 21st meeting all-time between the Bison and Tommies, with NDSU leading the series 12-8. NDSU won both games last season in UST's first year in The Summit League.

Skunberg Reigning Player of the Week: NDSU's Boden Skunberg is the reigning Summit League Peak Performer of the Week after averaging 20.3 points and 7.0 rebounds in three games for the Bison. He recorded a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds in NDSU's win at Portland on Dec. 5, then put up 22 points vs. Montana on Dec. 10 for back-to-back career highs in scoring.
Skunberg's 61 total points were the most in any three-game stretch of his career, and he has now scored in double figures in a career-best five straight games.

Top Of The Summit: North Dakota State and South Dakota State are the only Summit League schools to finish among the top three in the league standings every year over the past four seasons.
In six of David Richman's eight seasons at NDSU, the Bison have finished in a tie for third place or better in The Summit League.

Filling It Up: Jacari White has scored in double figures four times in the last games.

Life on the Road: Through the first 30 days of the season (from Nov. 6 to Dec. 5), the Bison spent 17 nights away from Fargo.

Damari Emerges: Freshman Damari Wheeler-Thomas posted his best two games of the young season on the most recent road trip, averaging 13 points on 65-percent shooting at Eastern Washington and Portland.
At Eastern Washington on Dec. 3, Wheeler-Thomas scored 10 points in a span of less than three minutes for a 10-0 Bison run midway through the second half.

Wide Variety: In 12 games this season, the Bison have had seven different leading scorers. Nine Bison have scored in double figures at least twice already this year.

Youth Quantified: NDSU has no seniors on the roster this season, and 7 of the top 10 players in terms of minutes played this year are freshmen or sophomores.

30-Plus: Grant Nelson scored a career-high 31 points against Northern Colorado at the Lobo Classic on Nov. 25. It was the most points by a Bison since Rocky Kreuser scored 34 in the championship game of the Summit League Tournament on March 9, 2021.

White Hot: Sophomore guard Jacari White sparked NDSU with a season-high 19 points off the bench vs. Jacksonville State on Nov. 27. He finished 7-of-9 from the floor and made 5-of-7 from three-point range, scoring all his points in a span of 12 minutes in the second half.

First Double-Double for Morgan: Sophomore Andrew Morgan registered his first collegiate double-double with 23 points and a career-high 14 rebounds in NDSU's win over Crown College on Nov. 20.

Hastreiter Gets Hot: NDSU freshman Sam Hastreiter set an NDSU single-game record for three-pointers made without a miss, going a perfect 7-for-7 from beyond the arc vs. Pacific on Nov. 13. Hastreiter finished with 24 points and six rebounds.
The Lincoln, Neb., native has made 17-of-34 (50 percent) from three-point range this season.
