The Series vs. North Dakota: Friday will be the 306th meeting between NDSU and UND, with UND leading the all-time series, 163-142.
The Bison lead 14-6 over 20 meetings in the Division I era, and NDSU has won 8 of the past 10 games against the Fighting Hawks.

Last Time vs. The Fighting Hawks: The Bison jumped out to an early lead and never trailed, cruising to a 79-53 win at North Dakota in the regular season finale on Feb. 26 last season. NDSU went ahead 17-5 in the first 8:15 of the game and led 34-25 at halftime.  The Bison exploded for 14 straight points to open the second half, pushing the margin to 23 at 48-25.

Career Game: Grant Nelson set new career-highs in points (35) and rebounds (16) at Western Illinois on Dec. 19 -- the most points by a Bison since January 2018 (Paul Miller & Cameron Hunter), and the most rebounds by a Bison since December 2014 (Dexter Werner).

Rare Feat: With his career-best performance at Western Illinois on Dec. 19, Grant Nelson became only the second player over the last 25 years with at least 35 points and 16 rebounds in a Summit League game. Since the 1996-97 season, only South Dakota State's Mike Daum has also accomplished that feat.

Top Of The Summit: North Dakota State and South Dakota State are the only Summit League schools to finish among the top three in the league standings every year over the past four seasons.
In six of David Richman's eight seasons at NDSU, the Bison have finished in a tie for third place or better in The Summit League.

Filling It Up: Jacari White has scored in double figures five times in the last seven games.

Life on the Road: Through the first 30 days of the season (from Nov. 6 to Dec. 5), the Bison spent 17 nights away from Fargo.

Wide Variety: In 14 games this season, the Bison have used eight different starting lineups. No starting five combination has been used more than four times. Seven different players have led the team in scoring.

Skunberg Named Player of the Week: NDSU's Boden Skunberg was named the Summit League Peak Performer of the Week on Dec. 12 after averaging 20.3 points and 7.0 rebounds in three games for the Bison. He recorded a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds in NDSU's win at Portland on Dec. 5, then put up 22 points vs. Montana on Dec. 10 for back-to-back career highs in scoring.
Skunberg's 61 total points were the most in any three-game stretch of his career, and he has now scored in double figures in a career-best seven straight games.
