The Games: The North Dakota State men's basketball team will wrap up a stretch of six games in 14 days by playing three games in five days this week. The Bison (14-8 overall, 6-4 Summit) will host Omaha, Denver and South Dakota inside the Scheels Center.

History with Omaha: Thursday will be the 88th meeting between North Dakota State and Omaha dating back to 1935-36. NDSU has a 54-33 lead in the series, including six straight victories. The Bison swept both meetings in Fargo last season, winning 71-69 on Jan. 8 and 80-66 on Jan. 9.
 
History with Denver: Saturday will be the 25th meeting between NDSU and Denver dating back to the 1993-94 season. The Bison hold a 17-7 advantage in the all-time series after winning the past seven games vs. the Pioneers, including a sweep of both meetings in Fargo last season.
 
History with South Dakota: Monday will be the 185th meeting all-time between NDSU and South Dakota, with the Bison leading the series 102-82. In the Division I era, NDSU owns a 17-6 record against the Coyotes. The Bison won three of the four meetings with South Dakota last season, including a 79-75 victory in the semifinals of the Summit League Tournament.
 
Rocky vs. Omaha: Rocky Kreuser is averaging 21 points and 10.3 rebounds in NDSU's last three wins over Omaha. He led the Bison with 25 points in the win in Omaha on Jan. 8.
 
Tyree vs. USD: In seven games against South Dakota over the past three seasons, Tyree Eady is averaging 14.0 points per game on 50-percent shooting.
 
Defending The Arc: NDSU leads The Summit League and has climbed to No. 34 in the nation for three-point defense, holding opponents to 29.6 percent from beyond the arc this season. Two months ago, on Dec. 1, the Bison ranked 243rd in the country for three-point defense, allowing 34.6 percent.
 
Rockin' New Year: Rocky Kreuser averaged 20.0 points and 8.1 rebounds for the month of January. He shot 41 percent from three-point range and 84 percent at the free throw line.
 
Cold Shooting: The Bison limited their opponents to 24-percent shooting from three-point range in the month of January (8 games).
 
Half Decade of Hoops: Fifth-year senior Rocky Kreuser has played in an NDSU record 147 games during his career – tied for the 15th-most among all active NCAA players. He is the fourth player in NDSU history with over 1,500 career points and 750 career rebounds.
 
Battle of Strengths: NDSU limited South Dakota State to 1-for-12 shooting from three-point range on Jan. 29. The Jackrabbits came into the contest as the No. 1 three-point shooting team in the nation, making 46 percent on the season.
 
Approaching 1,000: Tyree Eady has scored 933 points in his career, putting him on pace to reach the 1,000-point milestone by the end of the regular season.
 
Among The Best: In Summit League play, Rocky Kreuser ranks third in the conference for rebounding (7.5 rpg) and fourth for scoring (18.3 ppg).
 
All-Around Player: NDSU's Sam Griesel and SDSU's Baylor Scheierman are the only two players who rank among The Summit League's top 12 in scoring, rebounding, and assists this season.
 
Multiple Threats: Five Bison are shooting better than 39 percent from three-point range in Summit League play. Tyree Eady is 13-for-28 (46 percent) from beyond the arc, and Grant Nelson is 8-for-18 (44 percent).
 
Over NDSU's Past Five Games:
  • Rocky Kreuser is averaging 18.4 points and 8.2 rebounds.
  • Sam Griesel is averaging 15.2 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 2.6 assists.
  • Grant Nelson is shooting 69 percent overall.
  • Tyree Eady is 8-for-13 (62 percent) from three-point range.
  • The Bison are shooting 79 percent at the free throw line.
