The Series vs. Western Illinois: Thursday will be the 33rd game between NDSU and Western Illinois dating back to 2007-08. NDSU holds a 23-9 lead in the all-time series. The Bison have won 17 of the last 19 vs. the Leathernecks, going 7-1 over the past three-plus seasons.

The Series vs. St. Thomas: Saturday will be the 20th meeting all-time between the Bison and Tommies, with NDSU leading the series 11-8. The two schools met in Fargo on Jan. 25 for the first time since the 1966-67 season, with NDSU winning 77-56.

Close Games: 11 of NDSU's 13 Summit League games this season have been within a five-point margin with under 1:30 remaining in regulation.

Call It A Comeback: NDSU's comeback victory over South Dakota on Monday was its largest deficit overcome in a win since the Bison came back from 18 down to defeat Fort Wayne in the semifinals of the Summit League Tournament on March 7, 2016.
         The Bison trailed South Dakota by 17 points with 8:45 remaining on Monday. In the semifinal stunner over Fort Wayne, NDSU was down 18 in the first half, but never more than 15 in the second half. Fort Wayne led by 12 with 8:00 left in the game.

Other Comeback Memories:
- 2021 Summit League Championship -- Trailed Oral Roberts by 25 at halftime & tied game at 72-72 in final minute.
- Dec. 28, 2016, at South Dakota State -- Trailed by 16 with 14:45 left and won, 80-69.
- Three times during the 2018-19 season, NDSU trailed by 13 points and came back to win.

Unicorn Sighting: Grant Nelson scored 12 points in the span of 1:33 on Monday night, keying NDSU's furious comeback. In a larger span of 2:42, Nelson posted 14 points and had the assist on NDSU's only other basket during the run.

Just Playing: NDSU just completed a stretch of six games in 14 days, going 5-1 over that span. The Bison played three games in five days twice -- from Jan. 25-29, and from Feb. 3-7.

Rocky Kreuser has played in an NDSU record 150 games during his career – tied for the 14th-most among all active NCAA players. He is the fourth player in NDSU history with over 1,500 career points and 750 career rebounds.
