Heaven Hamling posted her first career double-double with a team-high 21 points and game-best 10 rebounds over 40 minutes of action.
Reneya Hopkins registered her fifth straight double-digit scoring performance with a career-high 20 points and tied a career-best seven rebounds.
Abby Schulte also netted a career-high 18 points and hauled in a career-best seven rebounds.
TOURNAMENT TIME
NDSU is set to make its sixth straight appearance in the Summit League Tournament. Last season, the Bison advanced to the semifinals before falling to South Dakota, 81-55. NDSU is 3-12 all-time in the tournament, including a 3-9 mark in the quarterfinal round. This will be the second meeting with Kansas City and first since 2010 when the Roos edged the Bison, 76-75, in overtime.
AGAINST THE ROOS THIS SEASON
Kansas City won both meetings between these two teams this season with an average margin of victory of 7.0 points.
Ryan Cobbins is averaging a team-high 17.5 points against the Roos.
COMFORTABLE BEHIND THE ARC
The Bison have netted 192 triples this season, which ranks fourth all-time in NDSU history and is the most since 2017-18 season.
RENEYA RISES UP
Reneya Hopkins has posted double digits in scoring in each of the last five games. Over that span, she's averaging 14.6 points per game and has generated a team-high eight steals and 16 assists. Hopkins is shooting 45.5 percent (20-44) from the field and 92.9 percent (15-16) from the free throw line.
HEAVY WORKLOAD
Heaven Hamling has started all 28 games this season and is averaging a team-high 34.4 minutes per game, which ranks third in the Summit League.
Ryan Cobbins is logging a career-high 31.4 minutes per game. Hamling is currently slotted fourth (32.4) and Cobbins is positioned 10th (29.4) on the NDSU all-time minutes average list.

Heaven Hamling enters the week ranked inside the top three in the Summit League in three-point field goal percentage (1st, 38.7), three-point field goals per game (1st, 2.32) and three-point field goals made (2nd, 65).
HAMLING CLIMBS THE RANKS
Heaven Hamling has surpassed 120 career three pointers with 122. She currently ranks 10th on the Bison all-time three-point field goals made list and is 1-of-11 players in program history to register 120 or more triples.
Through 28 games this season, Hamling has also connected on a team-high 65 three pointers on 168 attempts. She is currently positioned tied for fifth on the Bison single season three-point field goals made list and is eight triples away from moving into fourth place.
DIETZ CONTINUES TO HIT MILESTONES
Emily Dietz has started 110 career games and ranks seventh on the NDSU all-time list. She's only the fourth player in the Division I era to start 100 or more games. Dietz has also played in 130 games, which is the most in NDSU history.
In the win over Denver, Dietz reached 1,000 career points and became the 35th player in NDSU history and only the ninth in the Division I era to accomplish the feat. She has totaled 1,128 points over five seasons and ranks 29th on the NDSU all-time scoring list.
Dietz, who has played in 113 straight games, has grabbed 688 total rebounds and is slotted 16th on the NDSU all-time rebounding list. She only the third player in the Division I era to surpass 600 or more rebounds.
SCOUTING KANSAS CITY
Kansas City begins the week with a 22-7 (12-6 Summit) overall record and has dropped its last two contests. Most recently, the Roos fell short against South Dakota State, 94-62. Brooklyn McDavid led the way for Kansas City with a team-high 18 points and three steals.
THE SERIES VS. KANSAS CITY
This will be the 19th all-time meeting dating back to 2008 with the Roos holding the slight edge, 10-8. Earlier this season on Feb. 19, Kansas City edged NDSU, 76-67.
Ryan Cobbins led the way for the Bison with 18 points on 7-of-15 shooting from the field.
Reneya Hopkins also chipped in 12 points of her own.
