FARGO, N.D. - North Dakota State soccer and head coach Michael Regan have announced the release of the full 2022 fall schedule, which features 19 regular season games and seven games in Fargo at Dacotah Field.

The Bison will open up the year with a single exhibition game, welcoming in NAIA program Viterbo to Fargo on Thursday, Aug. 11. A week later, NDSU will open up the season on the road with a trip to Louisiana to take on Tarleton (Aug. 19) and Southern University (Aug. 21) in Thibodaux.

NDSU will have two more road trips before the regular season home opener, traveling to Minneapolis, Minnesota for a pair of neutral-site games against Dixie State (Aug. 27) and Chicago State (Aug. 29) and then on to games at Wyoming (Sept. 2) and at Northern Colorado (Sept. 4).

The regular season home opener is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 9 against Green Bay at 5 p.m. NDSU will remain and welcome in Drake on Sunday, Sept. 11 for a 1 p.m. kickoff.

The Bison will then close out the non-conference portion of the schedule with trips to Idaho (Sept. 16) and Montana (Sept. 18) in the final tune-up games before Summit League play begins.

NDSU will open up the league schedule with five of the first seven away from Fargo, beginning with a trip to Denver (Sept. 23) and Omaha (Sept. 25). The Bison will then welcome in St. Thomas (Sept. 25) and Western Illinois (Oct. 2) for the first two league games at Dacotah Field.

The Bison will then wrap up the road schedule over the next two weekends, first with a trip south to take on Kansas City (Oct. 7) and Oral Roberts (Oct. 9), before a trip north to Grand Forks to take on North Dakota (Oct. 16).

NDSU will wrap up the regular season at home, welcoming in South Dakota (Oct. 21) before the season finale against South Dakota State (Oct. 23).

The Summit League Championship will follow the next two weeks, as the tournament format expands to two weekends and six teams in 2022 from a four-team event. The Quarterfinal round will feature the four lowest seeds on Oct. 28, as the top two seeds gain a first-round bye. The semifinal round will be Oct. 30, with the Championship game being held on Nov. 5.
