The Series vs. South Dakota State: Thursday will be the 232nd meeting all-time between North Dakota State and South Dakota State, with the Bison leading the series 119-112. The Jackrabbits won all three meetings last season, including the championship game of the Summit League Tournament on March 8. SDSU has won 11 of the last 13 matchups between the schools.

The Series vs. South Dakota: Saturday will be the 186th meeting all-time between NDSU and South Dakota, with the Bison leading the series 103-82. In the Division I era, NDSU owns an 18-6 record against the Coyotes. The Bison won both meetings with South Dakota last season, including an overtime win in Vermillion and a thrilling comeback from 17 points down to win 76-74 in Fargo on Feb. 7.

Coming Off a Win: The Bison have now won 9 of the past 11 games against North Dakota following a 71-49 blowout victory on Dec. 30 in Grand Forks. NDSU drained 10-of-21 from three-point range and dominated the glass, posting a 41-27 rebounding margin.

Force In the Paint: Grant Nelson is averaging 19.6 points and 10.0 rebounds over the past five games.

Wide Variety: The Bison have used seven different starting lineups in the last eight games. In 15 total games this season, NDSU has used nine different starting lineups. Seven different players have led the team in scoring.

Career Game: Grant Nelson set new career-highs in points (35) and rebounds (16) at Western Illinois on Dec. 19 -- the most points by a Bison since January 2018 (Paul Miller & Cameron Hunter), and the most rebounds by a Bison since December 2014 (Dexter Werner).

Rare Feat: With his career-best performance at Western Illinois on Dec. 19, Grant Nelson became only the second player over the last 25 years with at least 35 points and 16 rebounds in a Summit League game. Since the 1996-97 season, only South Dakota State's Mike Daum has also accomplished that feat.

Top Of The Summit: North Dakota State and South Dakota State are the only Summit League schools to finish among the top three in the league standings every year over the past four seasons.
In six of David Richman's eight seasons at NDSU, the Bison have finished in a tie for third place or better in The Summit League.

Filling It Up: Jacari White has scored in double figures in six of the last eight games.

Youth Quantified: NDSU has no seniors on the roster this season, and 7 of the top 10 players in terms of minutes played this year are freshmen or sophomores.

Hastreiter Gets Hot: NDSU freshman Sam Hastreiter set an NDSU single-game record for three-pointers made without a miss, going a perfect 7-for-7 from beyond the arc vs. Pacific on Nov. 13. Hastreiter finished with 24 points and six rebounds. The Lincoln, Neb., native has made 18-of-35 (51 percent) from three-point range this season.
