BROOKINGS, S.D. – The North Dakota State women's cross country team took third place at the Summit League Championships on Saturday at Edgebrook Golf Course.
South Dakota claimed the women's team title in a tight race, scoring 50 points. South Dakota State took second with 55 points, and the Bison were third with 69 points.

Grace Link was the top finisher for the Bison, placing seventh in a time of 21:20.8 for the 6k race.
Reagan Baesler finished 11th in 21:38.0. NDSU completed its team scoring with four consecutive finishers in 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th with freshman
Logan Harz (21:59.4), sophomore
Aleah Miller (22:05.7), junior
Hope Pringle (22:06.6), and senior
Alexis Roehl (22:11.6).
The Bison women had six finishers in front of South Dakota and South Dakota State's fifth finishers, but were unable to overcome a 3-4-5-6 finish by the Coyotes to win the team crown.
Link was named to the All-Summit League first team for the second year in a row, and Baesler earned second team all-league honors.
The Bison will run at the NCAA Midwest Regional in Stillwater, Okla., on Nov. 10.
